Big Apple BBQ Block Party

Would you enjoy spending time this summer at a party that’s hosted some of the greatest BBQ pit masters from all around? Then you have to hit up the Big Apple BBQ Block Party. Last year, more than 7,500 pounds of pork, 14,000 pounds of ribs, and 3,500 gallons of ice cold beer were served. That’s a lot of BBQ for just one weekend! This is a free event, however, specialty tickets are available for those who want to take advantage of speed lanes, for getting food. Judging by how much food was prepared last year, if you’re a BBQ fanatic, purchasing a pass or two may not be such a bad idea!


Families who are looking for something fun yet educational to do this summer should take advantage of the night at the museums event, happening again this summer. Multiple museums in the area will open their doors between 4 and 8pm to give families access to special exhibits, programs and events.


If you live in or around New York City, then you know about SummerStage. If you are visiting New York City for the first time or just moved to the area, this is a must do event. SummerStage spans 16 different parks, features more than 115 free concerts and roughly 200 artists. SummerStage has been “setting the stage” for New York City summer music fun for over three decades, and it shows absolutely no signs of slowing down.
